Prayer and Bible Reading

Christians pray by speaking directly to God — in their own words, at any time, in any posture. Jesus gave a pattern (the Lord's Prayer) but not a script. Christian prayer is not a ritual to fulfil but a relationship to maintain. It is honest conversation with a Father, not a performance before a judge.

Christians read the Bible because they believe it is God's word — the primary means by which God speaks, shapes, and sustains his people. It is not a rulebook to follow for merit, or a magic text to recite. It is the living account of who God is, what he has done in history, and what he asks of those who follow him.

Biblical anxiety relief means bringing fear honestly before God, receiving His truth, and learning to trust Him in the middle of real struggle. It does not mean pretending anxiety is unreal or refusing wise support.

Psalm 23 means the LORD personally shepherds His people by providing, guiding, restoring, protecting, and welcoming them. It is a psalm of trust in God’s presence.

The sinner’s prayer is a simple prayer expressing repentance and faith in Jesus. The prayer itself does not save; Jesus saves those who truly turn to Him in faith.

Spiritual fasting is voluntarily giving up food or another legitimate comfort for a time in order to seek God in prayer, humility, repentance, or dependence.
