Son of God Language

In Christianity, Son of God does not mean that God had a wife or fathered a child in a physical way. It is a title that speaks of Jesus’ unique relationship with the Father and, in Christian belief, His divine identity.

Christians believe Jesus did claim divine authority and identity, even if He did not use the exact modern sentence some people expect. They point to His words, actions, titles, and the way His hearers reacted to Him.
