God's Nature and Attributes

In Christianity, God is the one true God, the Creator of all things, eternal, holy, loving, and personal. He is not a force or an idea. He has revealed Himself in the Bible as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — one God in three persons.

The God of the Bible is one, eternal, holy, and all-powerful. He is loving, faithful, merciful, and just. He is personal and can be known. He never changes, and He has revealed Himself fully in Jesus Christ.

God is both. He is infinitely greater than creation — far above us in power and holiness — and at the same time He is personal and near. He speaks, listens, loves, and has come close to us in Jesus Christ. Distance and closeness are not opposites in God.

Theological concepts are clear summaries of what the Bible teaches about God, Jesus, salvation, humanity, and the Christian life. They help believers understand Scripture accurately and explain faith with care.

Agape love is God-shaped, self-giving love shown most clearly in Jesus Christ. It is not merely emotion or niceness; it is holy, truthful love that seeks the good of another.
